Kepala MTsN 2 Palembang Dra. Nuraini Farida, M.Si menyampaikan “dalam acara penutupan kepala madrasah mengucapkan rasa terimakasih kepada seluruh panitia guru, pengurus OSIS yang telah bekerja, beraktifitas dan berinteraksi dengan peserta didik baru, sehingga kegiatan Matsama ini bisa berjalan dengan baik”. ujarnya
Nuraini berharap, “kepada seluruh peserta didik baru, untuk lebih meningkatkan lagi belajar dan ibadah selama di Madrasah ini,dan mentaati seluruh Peraturan yang ada di madrasah. “Kami menantikan prestasi-prestasi baik dalam bidang akademik maupun non akademik dari para peserta didik baru demi mengharumkan nama baik MTsN 2 Kota Palembang.” Ucap Kepala Madrasah.
