Kepala MTsN 2 Palembang Dra. Nuraini Farida, M.Si mengatakan “bulan Muharram, bulan pertama pada penanggalan Hijriah merupakan bulan yang sangat istimewa bagi umat muslim. Pada bulan ini, umat muslim disunahkan untuk memperbanyak amalan. Amalan sunah yang bisa dilakukan untuk memperbanyak pahala antara lain puasa Asyura dan menyantuni anak yatim di kesempatan dalam peringati 10 muharram 1446 H ini MTsN 2 Kota Palembang mengadakan kegiatan berbagi kepada anak yatim terkhususnya untuk siswa/i kelas 7,8,9 yang ada di MTsN 2 Kota Palembang,” ujarnya.
Lanjut Nuraini, mengucapkan terima kasih kepada para donatur yang telah memberikan santunannya kepada peserta didik yang ada di MTsN 2 Kota Palembang. “Semoga ini menjadi amal ibadah kita semua untuk mendapatkan keberkahan terkhusus untuk keluarga besar MTsN 2 Kota Palembang,” harapnya.
