MTs N 2 Palembang menggelar Pemilihan Ketua OSIM masa bakti 2020-2021 pada senin (2/11/2020). Pemilihan Ketua OSIM yang dilakukan melalui e-voting dianggap menjadi pilihan yang harus dilakukan di masa pandemi Covid-19 saat ini. Selain bisa menghindari kerumunan dan mencegah penyebaran virus, cara ini dirasa efektif dan efisien dalam implementasinya.
Hal itu dituturkan Wakil Kepala Bidang Kesiswaan, Sri Winarni, S.Pd. \”Dengan bantuan teknologi informasi yang mudah diakses, para pemilih bisa melakukan \”pemilihan\” di mana pun tempatnya melalui sarana smartphone,\” ujarnya.
Ibu Sri lanjut menjelaskan, rangkaian kegiatan Pemilihan Ketua OSIM sendiri diawali sejak 31 Oktober 2020 dengan agenda penjaringan calon ketua OSIM, penetapan pasangan calon (paslon), kampanye melalui Instagram, Video, Whatsup bahkan sampai mimbar bebas yang ditayangkan secara live streaming menggunakan YouTube.
Semuanya diupayakan mematuhi protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19. \”Puncaknya adalah pemungutan suara hari ini (senin, 2/11/2020) dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Form,\” ungkapnya.
Pembina OSIM yakni ibu RR. Triwabdiyana, S.Pd. menambahkan, semua proses dilakukan panitia yang merupakan siswa MTs N 2 Palembang, secara mandiri dengan tetap kami dampingi para pembina OSIM. Untuk menjaga independensi, panitia diharuskan berintegritas sehingga asas Luberjurdil bisa terwujud.
Menurut Pembina OSIM, pemilihan Ketua OSIM juga merupakan sarana edukasi kepada siswa sebagai calon pemilih pemula dalam mewujudkan demokrasi nantinya.
\”Kami ingin budaya berdemokrasi yang baik dengan menggunakan hak pilih secara bertanggung jawab terjaga melalui e-voting ini,\” beber Roro.
Adapun pasangan calon Ketua OSIS yang tersaring ada 2 pasang, yaitu Raisa Shagira Putri dengan Mutia Salsabila Azzahra (nomor urut 1), dan Byanca Xaviera Orvala Azri dengan Intan Putri Wulandari (nomor urut 2)
Kepala MTs Negeri 2 Palembang, Fery Aguswijaya, S.Ag.,M.Pd.I dalam sambutannya berharap terpilih Ketua OSIM yang lebih baik dan berkualitas dalam memimpin roda organisasi OSIS satu tahun ke depan.
Dari hasil penghitungan suara, terpilih dengan suara terbanyak adalah pasangan calon nomor urut 2, yaitu Byanca Xaviera Orvala Azri dengan Intan Putri Wulandari.
Adapun rincian perolehan suara antara lain, paslon satu mendapat 283 suara, dan paslon dua mendapat 309 suara sehingga total suara sah 592 suara.
Dilihat dari angka partisipasinya, dari total daftar pemilih, suara yang masuk sejumlah 598 suara dengan rincian suara tidak valid 6 dan suara valid 592 . (Skd/Dst)
