Kepala MTsN 2 Palembang Dra. Nuraini Farida,M.Si mengatakan sebanyak enam Siswa MTsN 2 Palembang telah mengikuti Kompetisi Sains Madrasah (KSM) yang merupakan sebuah ajang berkompetisi dalam bidang sains yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia yang diadakan di setiap titik lokasi madrasah yang sudah diajukan oleh HD Kota per provinsi masing-masing.”ungkapnya
tambah nuraini “Kompetisi Sains Madrasah (KSM) ialah sebagai wahana membangun ghirah kompetisi sains kalangan siswa madrasah, yang diadakan Sejak awal digelar tahun 2012, KSM telah juga menjadi sebuah ajang yang positif dalam membangun budaya kompetisi dan Pada tahun 2018, KSM berupaya mengelaborasi sains dengan konteks nilai-nilai Islam.”ucapnya
Kompetisi Sains Madrasah 2023 dibuka untuk Satuan Pendidikan baik dari Madrasah (MI,MTs,MA) yang dilaksanakan selama 3 hari mulai tanggal 8 s.d 10 dan telah dilakukan uji coba pada tanggal 5 s.d 7 kemarin yang di laksanakan di ruang laboratorium komputer MTsN 2 Kota Palembang.
Nuraini berharap siswa-siswi yang mengikuti tes kompetisi sains madrasah ini dapat berhasil meraih juara dan unggul di tingkat kabupaten kota, sekaligus agar MTsN 2 Palembang dapat menjadi madrasah percontohan bagi madrasah lainnya.”pungkasnya (Dst)
