Kepala MTsN 2 Kota Palembang Drs.Iskandar, M.Si mengatakan rapat pelaksaan program tahfidz quran ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas kegiatan siswa/i dalam menghafal Al-Quran, mengamalkan, dan membudayakan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam sikap hidup sehari-hari kegiatan tahfidz ini juga di dampingi oleh ustadz dan ustadzah ahli dalam membina kegiatan tahfidz quran, dengan adanya program tahfidz ini dapat menjadikan juga sebagai pedoman hidup dalam keagaaman siswa/i di madrasah .”ujar iskandar
iskandar berharap dengan adanya penetapan pelaksanaan program tahfidz tahun pelajaran 2021 ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan dapat dilaksanakan sebagaimana mestinya, program tahfidz ini juga harus mempunyai target hafalan alquran lebih dari target hafalan juz sebelumnya, untuk terus meningkatkan keaktifan siswa/i dimadrasah sekaligus mendukung program-program unggulan yang ada di MTsN 2 Palembang ini.
