Kepala Madrasah MTs. Negeri 2 Kota Palembang Nuraini Farida menghadiri acara Pembukaan Bazar yang digelar oleh Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dibuka oleh Kakanwil Kemenag Sumsel H. Syafitri Irwan di Lobi PTSP Kanwil Kemenag Sumsel, Kamis (09/01/2025).
Ketua DWP Kanwil Kemenag Sumsel Hj. Emilia Syafitri Irwan dalam laporannya menjelaskan bahwa untuk menambah kemeriahan HAB Kemenag ke-79 setiap pengurus Dharma Wanita dari tiap kabupaten/kota menampilkan keunikan, hasil karya maupun hasil alam yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan berbagai hasil kreasi maupun hasil alam dari tiap daerah masing-masing. Selain itu bazar ini bertujuan membantu meningkatkan ekonomi para UMKM.
Kegiatan Bazar kali ini di isi dengan bazar kerajinan, hasil alam serta kreasi dari kabupaten/kota Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. MTs Negeri 2 Kota Palembang turut serta dalam memeriahkan acara dengan membuka stan bazar yang menampilkan kreativitas dan produk unggulan Madrasah.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan ajang silaturahmi antar keluarga Kementerian Agama Sumatera Selatan dan juga merupakan suguhan pasar murah bagi pegawai juga masyarakat yang berada di sekitar Kanwil Kemenag Sumsel, dan berharap acara ini terus diadakan setiap tahun,” ucap Nuraini.
Kakanwil juga mengapresiasi para UMKM yang turut serta dalam rangkaian HAB tersebut. Bazar yang digelar selama dua hari ini diharapkan sektor UMKM di Sumsel semakin berkembang dan dikenal luas, serta memberikan dampak positif bagi ekonomi masyarakat.
